Countermeasure
Development
Our scientific and engineering teams have made significant
advances in the development and evaluation of countermeasure
applications for radio frequency, infrared, and laser
technologies. For over 25 years we have successfully
designed and implemented systems for the electronic
warfare community. Envisioneering has extensive technical
involvement with counter-MANPAD technologies, including
the development and evaluation of countermeasure requirements
and solutions. Envisioneering activities in this field
span all aspects of the technology development process
from preliminary exploitation efforts to operational
testing of final countermeasure effectiveness.
Directed Energy Technologies
Envisioneering is continually at the
forefront in developing effective protective measures
for the defense of U.S. assets and the protection
of the American people. One of our specialty areas
is to provide scientific and engineering services
for the design, development, and test and evaluation
of directed energy technologies such as high power
microwave systems, high energy systems laser, and
electromagnetic railgun systems.
Photonics and Electronic Sensors
and Systems
Envisioneering regularly designs and builds
specialized electro-optical and infrared devices.
In addition, we fabricate a wide range of prototype
and hardened hardware for various customers. These
include optical, electronic, and mechanical components,
equipment, and systems. Envisioneering has recently
been funded to improve the optics and electronic support
measures for a current generation U.S. Navy missile
system. Our technical inputs have also been used recently
in combat support systems employed by U.S. forces
in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Modeling and Simulation
One of our key strengths is our modeling
and simulation group. Core contributions are in the
areas of infrared and radio frequency ship signature
modeling, IR and RF anti-ship missile defense engagement
modeling, IR surface-to-air missile defense engagement
modeling, electromagnetic effects modeling, and RF
countermeasure modeling.
Systems Development and
Integration
Envisioneering is able to develop and integrate
components and systems into air, land, and sea-platforms.
Our team can assist customers with systems development
and integration requirements on virtually any Government
or commercial platform.
Test Planning, Execution
and Support
One of the final and most important stages
for any product is the testing phase. From test site
selection, to the acquisition of equipment and facilities,
to the conduct of the test and data collection and
analysis - we understand the significance of this
phase and have developed the appropriate processes
and requirements for planning and carrying out successful
tests.
Laboratory and Facility
Operations
A key to successful research and development
efforts is the capability to procure, set-up, upgrade,
and maintain specialized laboratory facilities. Our
comprehensive capabilities in this area encompass
the review and analysis of current laboratory measurement
techniques, performing optical and mechanical design
studies, conducting laboratory measurements, developing
control and data reduction software, and developing
databases for the storage and retrieval of reduced
data.
Defense and Homeland Security
Our knowledge of public and private industry
requirements allows us to thoroughly understand defense
and homeland security issues at all levels of Government
and to help identify and develop appropriate technical
solutions and business strategies to support U.S.
National Security needs. Our business support teams
have the full-range of real-world experience and technical
expertise to critically examine complex issues and
develop integrated and cost-effective solutions designed
to strengthen defense capabilities and security preparedness.
Force Protection and Counter-Terrorism
Support
Envisioneering brings considerable knowledge and real-world
expertise to help clients understand vulnerabilities,
develop risk-mitigation strategies and implement effective
countermeasures to enhance the protection of critical
infrastructure and military forces worldwide. Our
approach addresses operational issues, planning, training,
threat and vulnerability assessments, prioritizing
requirements, and identifying leading technology initiatives
to enhance force protection readiness and response
capabilities. The Company has extensive connections
to both Government and law enforcement community representatives
in these critical mission areas.
